Mind Your Thoughts ![]()
Thoughts are at the heart of everything that you experience. ![]()
Whether it’s monsters under the bed or even angels by your side, thoughts are the problems and the possibilities that you create. ![]()
Every moment of every day you have unlimited potential for new thoughts. Which means that you are only ever one thought away from a totally different experience in life, only one thought away from being ok, but most of the time we focus on how we don’t want to feel. ![]()
So today make a choice to think differently about one thing in your day. Maybe it’s having tea instead of coffee, maybe it’s taking a different route to work. ![]()
Learn to be ok with change and changing your thoughts one small step at a time. ![]()

Weekly Affirmations ![]()
Often some people who have anxiety can feel it as soon as they wake up. ![]()
The alarm has gone off, they pick up their phones and start looking through emails, socials, reading news etc. then there’s the other responsibilities, kids, partner, pets. ![]()
Your nervous system doesn’t switch from sleep to full performance mode as soon as you open your eyes. It needs a softness, a moment or two to adjust, a nice easy transition. ![]()
Here’s a gentle affirmation that can help start your day the right way. ![]()
My Nervous System is allowed to wake up gently. ![]()
Now that might mean staying in bed for an extra two minutes and breathing slowly. It might mean no scrolling first thing, it might mean giving your body a stretch before you speak. ![]()
Being gentle with yourself doesn’t mean you’re being lazy, it means you’re allowing yourself to regulate your nervous system. ![]()
When you let your body wake up gradually you set the tone for steadiness instead of urgency and anxiety has far less to feed on. ![]()
Try this affirmation every morning for the next week. Before you reach for your phone take a slow breath and repeat the affirmation quietly to yourself three times. ![]()
Small changes can have a powerful impact. ![]()
