We all need a little help now and again, and that’s ok. Realising that you’re sick and tired of feeling sick and tired is the first step. When you decide enough is enough. You can’t keep feeling this way.It’s recognising that your thinking can get in the way of your living. The past is gone, it doesn’t exist, and thinking of things that happened in the past, right now, is what can cause you to feel anxious, stressed, upset, what ever it is that it creates for you. The future doesn’t exist because it hasn’t happened yet, it only exists if you think about it right now, creating what ever worries and fears you may have about it. All you have is right now, this moment in time and that’s what counts being aware of what you are and what you have NOW. Changing how you feel about thinking off the past or the future can help you be more present in the now. How do you do that? Are you on the right wave length…So much happens in your brain when you feel anxious. Adrenaline is a hormone that helps us fight back or flee in the face of danger. It increases your heart rate and blood pressure. Under normal conditions people react to a threat with a temporary increase in their stress hormones. As soon as the threat is over the hormone dissipates and the body returns to normal. However in someone who has been traumatised takes longer to reset and is then often triggered by mildly stressful situations. People who live with a constant state of stress and anxiety are often in a high beta wave, which requires an awful lot of energy.During sessions with clients I will use a method called Havening Touch™️. What this does is it increases your delta waves. Delta waves are what you get when you are in a state of deep sleep, also known as the parasympathetic nervous system, rest and digest. Havening is where you would run your arms or the palms of your hands, almost like you are washing them. Using the Havening Touch causes a change in your brain chemistry and permanently removes the emotion and your nervous system response associated with a memory.
